Integration of the company represents a “perfect addition” to Balluff’s own sensor line, noted Rolf Hermle, Managing Director of Balluff on Monday, November 12, 2007.

SIE-Sensorik will provide Balluff, which has over 2000 employees worldwide and sales of 250 million Euros in the current fiscal year, with improved access to the relevant target markets and reinforce Balluff’s global sales activities. Mr. Hermle emphasized that the previous owners of SIE-Sensorik will remain as managing directors of the company until December 2008 “to ensure a smooth transition into the Balluff Group.” The headquarters of SIE-Sensorik in Viernheim, Germany, will remain unchanged.

SIE-Sensorik employees 55 persons at the Viernheim location, with sales figures of 5.5 million Euros.
