| Proximity Sensor Protection |
Prox Mounts
Prox mounts are a cornerstone in helping provide thermal protection to sensors. They prevent impact damage to flush-style inductive proximity sensor face by protecting the area where the active face meets the enclosure, the most vulnerable area of the sensor. Prox mounts provide a means of rapid change out, while repelling weld debris when using PTFE-coated versions. They are available in long and short sizes from 8 mm through 30 mm. PDF Catalog Page 
New! The new family of steel prox mounts, a first in the industry, provide a higher level of mechanical impact protection compared to the standard Prox mounts. Fully PTFE-coated to resist buildup of weld slag, they also enable easy removal of deposits from the sensor.

Bunker Blocks™
The Balluff Bunker Block with a quick-change Prox Mount protects the sensor body and face from abusive physical damage. The sensor can be removed and replaced quickly without losing its optimum sensing location. The sensor face is mounted just inside the block so it is protected from virtually any type of impact damage. The block also helps to insulate the sensor from local intermittent high heat. More
