BOS 5K laser suitable for small part detection

Small, compact and competitive
The optical sensors from the BOS 5K product line now incorporate a mini laser sensor: used as a diffuse sensor with background suppression, reflection sensor or thru-beam sensor.

The mini laser is only used in situations where a cost-effective, powerful sensor is needed. The class 1 laser does not require additional protective measures and the compact housing is ideal for cramped installation spaces.

Main application area: small part detection in high-speed processes
Designed for the packaging industry, handling technology and machine construction, it is ideal for precision scanning tasks such as small part detection. A high switching frequency makes the sensor perfect for high-speed processes in industrial automation.

Large sensing range with high signal strength
The fine laser beam is highly visible over long distances, easy to align and provides large sensing ranges that increase the signal strength.

Simple handling
Adapts easily to different applications. A single rotary switch is sufficient for the NC/NO contact changeover. The degree of sensitivity is just as simple to configure via a 6-speed or 270° potentiometer, depending on the sensor type.
