Sales Moves into New Office
May 2013: The sensor specialist, position measurement expert and industrial networking supplier Balluff from Neuhausen a. d. Fildern has moved into its new sales headquarters for China in the industrial metropolis of Shanghai.
With the move to the new offices and the expansion of its physical capacities, Balluff views itself as optimally prepared for future challenges.
Balluff Managing Director Florian Hermle: "China offers us enormous growth potential. Located here are many of our local and even European customers, for example, from the area of machinery and plant engineering. We are responding to this with our new office and increased on-site presence."
Balluff's new sales headquarters in China, with an area of 2,100 square meters, is in line with the global Balluff standards. Bright, well-ventilated rooms, state-of-the-art technology and sufficient space provide ideal working conditions. Housed in the office are, among others, the areas of marketing, service and sales as well as the training center for the Chinese market. An option for additional rooms in the same building offers sufficient space for future expansion.
But there's yet another reason for Balluff to celebrate. Next June, Balluff will have been represented in China with its own subsidiary for exactly 10 years. With an average growth rate in the double-digit percentage range over the past decade, new workplaces have been created constantly.
At present, more than 135 employees work in sales, of whom 70 are in the main office. The others are spread over 20 offices in all of the key economic regions of China. In addition, Balluff maintains an important production location in Chengdu, the capital city of the Sichuan province, where products are manufactured both for local as well as worldwide demand. Approximately 125 employees currently work there.
