Micropulse transducers enable fill level monitoring from the outside of non-magnetic containers
BTL micropulse transducers in a rod design are used for fill level monitoring of non-magnetic containers, such as stainless steel, glass and plastic containers. These containers may have walls with a thickness of up to 8 mm.
A magnetic ring integrated in a float marks the fill level in the container. The transducer, which is seated outside of the container, detects the position of the float remotely then provides it for analysis as a signal.
It reliably detects fill levels ranging from a few millimetres up to 6 metres. The measurement system can be retrofitted and is suitable for use in areas where there is a risk of explosion, since designs with ATEX certification are available.
