Balluff is the first to introduce CLPA conformance tested and approved CC-Link IE Field based distributed modular I/O to build a machine mount controls architecture. CC-Link IE Field combined with IO-Link, provides for a resilient network for a multitude of devices including discrete and analog I/O, smart sensors, RFID, Vision and more.

With its IP67 protection rating, this network block promotes truly distributed modular architecture for seamlessly connecting sensors, actuators or smart IO-Link devices with standard M12 sensor cables - further reducing complexity and cost for special devices and cables.

When building high I/O density applications, Balluff CC-Link IE field blocks with 8-IO-Link master ports can host 240 I/O points per node without compromising on speed or performace.
