Highly modern hydraulics and position measuring technology can handle high production speeds in the paper winding process. Our BTL magnetostrictive linear position sensors, which are securely packed in the hydraulic cylinder, continually report the exact position.
In paper production, the headbox evenly applies the stock suspension on the wire mesh. Hydraulic components control the deckle plates and headbox bottom lip. Our precise position measurement systems in hydraulic cylinders reliably ensure quality thanks to their stainless steel sensor head - even in this aggressive environment.
Intelligent cylinders with our built-in BTL magnetostrictive linear position sensor ensure that the contact pressure of the knife remains constant. They precisely control its position while it peels the logs in veneer production.
During wood processing, hydraulic cylinders control the saw blades, and our BTL magnetostrictive linear position sensors reliably and accurately report the position. This allows the position of every saw blade to be adjusted individually, which makes it possible to change the cross section extremely fast.

Our vibration-resistant BTL magnetostrictive linear position sensors are used in hydraulic cylinders to optimally feed logs of various sizes into debarking machinery. This allows you to reliably monitor the piston position of the feed unit.
