R81K photoelectric sensor series for universal use

The BOS R81K photoelectric series from Balluff is designed for widespread use. It is available with an LED red light as a retro-reflective sensor, diffuse sensor and diffuse sensor with background suppression, while the through-beam version uses infrared. The sensor's bright light-beam enables attractive sensing ranges to reliably detect objects.

Fast mounting, universal use

These sensors can be quickly and easily mounted anywhere using their rectangular housing or their M18 threaded nose. Adjustment is easily accomplished by using a top-mounted potentiometer. Whether using it as a through-beam sensor, a retroreflective sensor or a diffuse sensor (with or without background suppression), the BOS R81K series is ideally suited for controlling and monitoring conveyor systems and similar equipment.
