Contactlessly transmit power and data
Fixed wiring of sensors and actuators has disadvantages. Cables and contacts are frequently heavily stressed in automation so that cables can weaken and break, therefore resulting in a machine stoppage.
Our inductive coupler BICs transmit data and power contactlessly across an air gap. Thus, no mechanical wear is produced. The system availability is higher, the cycle times are shorter, the sequences are more flexible. The units can quickly be disconnected, are easy to handle and maintenance-free. enabling you to meet new demands quickly.
Inductive couplers for IO-Link signal transmission are used for non-contact transmission of power and data over an air gap. This renders mechanical plug-in contacts superfluous. Futhermore, data exchange in both directions is made possible, by using our bi-direction coupling system with IO-Link.
The contact-free signal transmission on IO-Link Standard is transparently structured: The system performs "invisibly" and does not have to be configured. You can very easily integrate it between IO-Link-Master and IO-Link-Device and communicate immediately.
The system has a complete IO-Link interface, regardless of the IO-Link version. Events, parameters and process data are exchanged directly between master and device.
Our inductive couplers for signal transmission are designed for up to eight sensor signals and eight actuator control signals.
The system is bi-directional and transmits signals in both directions. Its remote unit can drive on an individual basis and operate clamping units. From the base up to eight signals are transferable, and four channels can be controlled independent of each other.
Fast format changes ensure high productivity. However, these are often made substantially more difficult by plug-in contacts, for example when changing grippers on a robot.
Our inductive couplers for power supply transmit power contactlessly across an air gap. Mechanical plug contacts are therefore superfluous. The advantages: Non-wearing, rapid tool changing and great flexibility.
