Balluff is a medium-sized company - family run for four generations. Founded in Neuhausen on the Filder near Stuttgart, we have developed into a world oriented, leading global player. We are a company with tradition and customer relationships that have established over years, which acts simultaneously as an important partner in innovations and as a pacesetter for our customers.

Because of this, our company opened up to the global market very early on. In the early 1980s, Balluff was the first – and for a long time, the only – producer of sensors with its own means of production in Brazil. Today, Balluff is no longer just at home in Neuhausen, but also has a presence in Europe, Asia, North and South America and in all other important markets. This has enabled us to understand and assist our customers better. We are able to provide them with exactly what they need: High-quality sensor, identification and networking solutions for all areas of automation.

When it comes to quality, Balluff definitely has its own ideas. We call it Balluff Quality. A higher standard which goes beyond applicable official standards.We offer this not only in production but also in consulting and services.

Our clients also feel the special commitment that we provide them with. We fulfill their requirements, accept their challenges and develop forward-thinking technologies for them. At Balluff, the powers and responsibilities are clearly divided in order to keep time-to-decision and time-to-market as short as possible.

At Balluff, our products and solutions have their own responsible business units. These business units have worldwide responsibility for their respective product portfolios. This allows us to significantly shorten time-to-decision and time-to-market for our customers. Through intensive collaboration between product management and sales and marketing in cross-functional teams, we are closely linked to the market.

With a highly-interconnected world-wide presence, we guarantee our customers a high degree of flexibility and first class delivery times.

Our world-wide network consists of 68 sales and agent offices, as well as a total of nine production and development locations. Furthermore, our competence centresallow us to showcase our first class delivery times, high delivery reliability, clear material flows and clear responsibilities. Even more so for our customers, it allows us to deliver consistantly higher quality.

In addition, using our actual on-site presence, we can respond to regional market requirements and therefore fulfill the needs of customers and markets in an efficient and future-oriented manner.
