The form helps to achieve a fast detection of tag information and continuous transmission safety. By querying decentralized-storage product- and process-data, UHF is a central component of traceability applications in each phase of the material flow. Therefore, a continuous data transparency is ensured in the entire supply chain.
Data carriers, or "tags", label the object to be identified and furnish it with additional information. This information can be read, written, and saved using a password. The data carriers can store product, process and quality data to provide reliable information about the product life cycle.
Our modern UHF data carriers conform to the highest industrial requirements.They are built to withstand high temperatures, humidity, chemicals, and still reliably detect even in metal surroundings.
In contrast to bar codes, RFID tags are also readable without optical line of sight and are therefore resistant to soiling. The required energy for the passive data carriers is inductively coupled by the read/write head or derived from the electromagnetic wave radiated by the antenna.
Our UHF read/write heads and antennas are scalable. This allows you to design and implement your own identification system, which may include conveyor lines or gates. Many different versions are available for different detection ranges and applications. The range depends on the combination of read/write head or antenna, the data carrier, and on the configuration of the processor unit.
Our portable UHF read/write units are designed for portable reading and writing of BIS U data carriers. They are used with manual quality control or to document a maintenance procedure.
Handhelds from Balluff use WLAN, Bluetooth, or USB connection for data transmission. They are modular for adding 1D or 2D barcode readers. Handhelds remain reliable even in poor lighting conditions and harsh environments.
Our frequency-independent BIS V processor unit simplifies your inventory management. It is flexible and allows mixed operation of all product families (BIS M, BIS L, BIS C, BIS U). Up to four read/write heads can be operated simultaneously per BIS V processor unit. Compatible with all commonly used bus systems for use in any industry.
