    The solution

    Heavy seas present a problem for many passengers, especially when it comes to cruises. Stabilizers minimize ship movements. Depending on the position, the optimal fin angle is changed to keep the ship as vertical as possible in the water. Our BTL HB magnetostrictive linear position sensors reliably guarantee the correct adjustment of the angle.

    The solution

    Water-jet propulsion systems are used for high speeds at heavy seas or for maneuverability when traveling slowly. The hydraulic cylinders that control the infeed must be able to respond quickly and reliably to control inputs.
