By partnering Balluff RFID hardware with InformaTrac software solutions, Balluff can now provide a large scale, fully integrated enterprise solution to its customers.
Balluff Inc. is pleased to announce that it has partnered with InformaTrac, Inc. to provide a Best in Class, complete RFID and Asset Management Solution. Providing InformaTrac software solutions with their existing and well established line of RFID hardware, Balluff now provides all of the components together to deliver a large scale, fully integrated enterprise solution to its customers.
RFID is undoubtedly a rapidly growing technology that’s already being used in countless applications across all industries. By including enterprise software solutions with RFID hardware, Balluff can now extend the reach of that technology from the shop floor to the top floor of an organization. InformaTrac brings decades of experience in data collection and information management across nearly all industries. With Balluff RFID technology configured and enabled to collect information, InformaTrac software now extends the reach of that data into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
"We have had an overwhelmingly large number of requests from our customers to provide a full solution to track their fixtures, gauges, tools, etc.," says Wolfgang Kratzenberg, Marketing Manager for Industrial Identification at Balluff. "Being able to address our customer's RFID needs with the broadest hardware product line in the market is certainly a differentiator, but being able to address their needs with a completely integrated solution from start to finish is a game-changer." Kris Hughes, President of InformaTrac adds, “Closing the gap between the hardware and the software allows customers to enable a complete and configurable solution without having to manage multiple vendors. By working together, customers can now get everything they need through Balluff as a single solution provider.”
