Inductive distance sensors – BAW0021
The BAW M18ME-UAC50B-BP01,5-GS04 is an inductive distance sensor with an M18x1 housing for flush mounting. It has dimensions of Ø 18 x 36 mm and a measuring range of 1...5 mm. The sensor provides an analog voltage output of 0...10 V with a falling output characteristic on approach. Its limit frequency at –3 dB is 500 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±8 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±120 µm.
The brass housing is nickel-plated, and the sensing surface is made of PBT. Connection is via a 1.50 m PUR cable with an M12x1 male, 3-pin connector. The operating voltage is 15...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is –10...70 °C. The sensor has IP67 protection and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approvals; WEEE is also provided.
