Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES02ZY

The BES M30ME1-GNX15B-S04G-EEX, order code BES02ZY, is an inductive sensor for hazardous areas with a Ø 30 x 50 mm housing in size M30x1.5. It is designed for flush mounting and provides a range of 15 mm. The sensor uses a NAMUR interface and has a switching frequency of 100 Hz. Its housing is made of nickel-free coated brass, while the sensing surface consists of PBT.

Connection is provided by a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage is 7.7...9 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -20...70 °C. The sensor has ATEX classifications 1D (EPL Da), 1G (EPL Ga), 2D (EPL Db), 2G (EPL Gb), 3D (EPL Dc) and 3G (EPL Gc). It has IP67 protection and carries CE, ATEX, IECEx, FM, cCSAus, WEEE, CCC Ex and UKCA approvals or conformities.
