Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05L4

The BES M30MF2-PSC10B-BV02-EXD inductive sensor, order code BES05L4, has an M30x1.5 housing with dimensions of Ø 30 x 62 mm. It is intended for flush mounting and provides a 10 mm range. The switching output is PNP normally open (NO), with a switching frequency of 300 Hz. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface is PA. Connection is provided by a 2 m PUR cable. The operating voltage is 18...27 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C.

The sensor has an IP67 rating. Its Ex categories are ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), ATEX: 1G (EPL Ga), ATEX: 2D (EPL Db), ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb), ATEX: 3D (EPL Dc) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
