The BIC 1B0-IT005-Q40KFU-SM4A4A inductive coupler, order code BIC0072, is a base component for IO-Link contactless energy and signal transmission. It provides a bi-directional signal with a transmission distance of 0...5 mm and uses IO-Link 1.1. The connection is a 4-pin M12x1 male connector, with a rated operating voltage Ue of 24 VDC.

The housing is made of PBT and measures 40 x 40 x 62 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...55 °C, and the enclosure rating is IP67. Data transmission uses COM2 at 38.4 kBaud, with an additive cycle time of Device + 2.0 ms. Process data IN and process data OUT each support 0…32 bytes. The product has no SIO mode.
