The BIC 1B1-IT1A0-M30EI21-SM4A5A, order code BIC0086, is an inductive coupler with IO-Link function and bi-directional signal type. It is configured as a base and uses an M12x1 male, 4-pin connector. The transmission distance is 0...5 mm, and the rated operating voltage Ue is 24 VDC. Its housing is made of stainless steel and measures Ø 30 x 85 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...70 °C, and the IP rating is IP67.
Transfer rates are COM2 (38.4 kBaud) and COM3 (230.4 kBaud); the diagnostic channel uses COM2 (38.4 kBaud). Additive cycle time is 0 ms. Process data IN and OUT each comprise 0…32 bytes, while the diagnostic channel comprises 2 bytes IN and 1 byte OUT. SIO mode is not available. Secondary features include Identification, Device Discovery, Operating Hours Counter, Boot Cycle Counter, Extreme Environment Status, Storage Usage Monitoring and Variant Configuration. Condition monitoring includes vibration monitoring and internal temperature monitoring.
