The BNI IOL-302-002-Z042 IO-Link hub, order code BNI00CM, uses an IO-Link 1.1 interface with COM2 transfer at 38.4 kBaud. It operates at 18...30.2 VDC and has a COM 1 connection with an M12x1 male connector, 4-pin, A-coded. Eight M12x1 female connection slots, 5-pin, A-coded, are provided. The hub supports 16 PNP digital inputs, Type 3, and 16 PNP digital outputs; the inputs/outputs are configurable, and an extension port is available.
The current sum US for sensors is 4 A, while the current sum UA for actuators is 4 A. The switching current is 16x 2 A. Process data comprises 2 bytes IN and 2 bytes OUT, with a minimum process data cycle of 4.4 ms. The die-cast zinc housing is nickel-plated and measures 68 x 31.8 x 181.5 mm.
