Retroreflective sensors – BOS02C0

The BOS R254K-UUI-LK10-S4, order code BOS02C0, is a photoelectric retroreflective sensor from the R254K series with Washdown Plus and Washdown characteristics. It measures 20.4 × 62.7 × 49.5 mm and uses autocollimation with a collimated laser red light beam. The light spot size is 5 × 4 mm at 2 m, and the range is 0...8 m. A 4-pin M12x1 male connector provides IO-Link 1.1; pin 4 has a push-pull NO/NC output, while pin 2 has a PNP/NPN/push-pull NO/NC output. The housing and sensing surface are made of PA 12 and PA PACM 12. Operating voltage is 10...30 VDC.

Functions include automatic switching threshold adaption, device discovery, identification, logic blocks, switching profiles, threshold presetting, counters, signal and supply monitoring, variant configuration, and storage usage monitoring. Condition monitoring covers internal humidity, temperature, inclination, vibration and transmitter lifetime. Conformity includes CE, UKCA, cULus, WEEE and Ecolab; the scope of delivery contains a mounting instruction.
