Inductive distance sensors – BAW001Y
The BAW M18ME-UAC48B-BP01,5-GS04 is an inductive distance sensor with the order code BAW001Y. It has an M18x1 housing and measures Ø 18 x 36 mm. The sensor is designed for flush mounting and provides a range of 1...4.8 mm. Its analog output is voltage 0...10 V, with a falling output characteristic on approach. The limit frequency at –3 dB is 500 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±8 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±120 µm.
The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface consists of PBT. Connection is provided by a 1.50 m PUR cable with an M12x1-Male, 3-pin connector. The operating voltage is 15...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -10...70 °C. The sensor has IP67 rating and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity; WEEE is also specified.
