Inductive distance sensors – BAW0040
The BAW Z08EO-UAD20B-S04G-H11 inductive distance sensor, order code BAW0040, has a diameter of 12 mm, a length of 78 mm and an M12x1 housing for flush mounting. Its sensing range is 0.5...2 mm. The sensor provides an analog voltage output of 0...10 V with an output characteristic falling on approach. The –3 dB limit frequency is 1000 Hz, repeat accuracy per BWN is ±8 µm and maximum non-linearity is ±45 µm.
The housing is made of stainless steel and the sensing surface of ceramic. Connection is provided by a 3-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage is 15...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -25...85 °C. The maximum pressure rating is 500 bar, and the IP rating is IP68. The sensor has CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity and WEEE status.
