The BAW M30EE-ICD10B-S04G-L01 inductive distance sensor, order code BAW005Y, has a stainless steel M30x1.5 housing with dimensions of Ø 30 x 44.5 mm and is designed for flush mounting. Its sensing surface is made of PEEK. The sensor provides a measuring range of 2...10 mm and an analog current output of 4…20 mA with a falling output characteristic on approach. The limit frequency at –3 dB is 500 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±10 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±300 µm.

The sensor operates with 15...30 VDC and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -10...70 °C. It has an IP68 rating and connects via an M12x1-Male, 3-pin connector. The product carries CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity markings and is classified under WEEE.
