Capacitive level sensors – BCS011E
The BCS S04K501-PICFNG-S04G-T50 capacitive level sensor, order code BCS011E, belongs to the S04 series and has dimensions of Ø 30 x 96 mm. It is designed for non-flush installation and uses a connector with M12x1 male, 4-pin connection. The switching output is PNP normally open (NO), with a switching frequency of 5 Hz. The sensor has an IO-Link 1.1 interface and teachable sensitivity depending on the media. Its function is Smart Level 100, with electrically conductive media and foam and residue compensation as additional features.
The housing is made of 1.4404 stainless steel, while the sensing surface is made of PEEK. The ambient temperature range is -40...85 °C, and the operating voltage Ub is 18...30 VDC. The sensor has IP68 protection and conforms to CE, UKCA, WEEE and cULus requirements.
