Capacitive level sensors – BCS012L
The BCS R08RRE-NOMFHC-EP02 capacitive level sensor, order code BCS012L, is part of the R08 series and measures 34 x 16 x 8 mm. It is installed flush with the container outer wall and has a 2.00 m PUR cable connection. The sensor features an NPN normally closed (NC) switching output with a switching frequency of 10 Hz. Its sensitivity is teachable depending on the media, and its function is Smart Level 50. Additional features include operation with electrically conductive media and foam and residue compensation.
The housing and sensing surface are made of PP. The sensor operates with 12...30 VDC and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -25...70 °C. It has an IP67 rating and carries cULus, CE, UKCA and WEEE approval or conformity markings.
