Inductive proximity switches and proximity sensors – BES0178

The BES 516-131-S4-C inductive sensor, order code BES0178, has an M12x1 housing with a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 70 mm. Designed for non-flush installation, it provides a 4 mm sensing range and a PNP switching output with normally open/normally closed (NO/NC) functionality. The switching frequency is 2500 Hz. The housing is made of stainless steel, while the sensing surface is made of PBT.

The sensor operates with 10...30 VDC and has an ambient temperature range of -40...85 °C. Its connection is a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The sensor has an IP68 rating and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity markings; WEEE is also specified.
