The BES M18MI2-PSC80B-S04G inductive sensor, order code BES0496, has an M18x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 18 x 83 mm and is designed for flush mounting. Its sensing range is 8 mm. The sensor provides a PNP normally open (NO) switching output with a switching frequency of 1000 Hz. The housing is made of nickel-free coated brass, while the sensing surface is made of PBT.
Connection is provided by an M12x1 male, 4-pin connector. The operating voltage is 10...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -25...70 °C. The sensor has an IP68 rating. Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE.
