Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05MW

The BES M12MG2-GNX20B-S04G-EXC inductive sensor, order code BES05MW, has an M12x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 12 x 65 mm and is designed for flush mounting. Its sensing range is 2 mm and its interface is NAMUR. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface consists of PA. Connection is provided by a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage is 7.7...9 VDC. The ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C, depending on the Ex category. The sensor has ATEX categories 1D (EPL Da), 1G (EPL Ga), 2D (EPL Db), 2G (EPL Gb), 3D (EPL Dc) and 3G (EPL Gc). It has IP67 protection and the approvals and conformities CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
