Inductive couplers for contactless energy and signal transmission – BIC0071

The BIC 2B0-ITA50-Q40KFU-SM4A5A, order code BIC0071, is an inductive coupler for IO-Link signal transmission. It is designed as a remote component with bi-directional signal transmission, an IO-Link 1.1 interface and a transmission distance of 0...5 mm. The connector is an M12x1 female connector with 5 pins. The IO-Link transfer rate is COM2 (38.4 kBaud), and the additive cycle time is Device + 2.0 ms. Process data IN and process data OUT each support 0…32 bytes. SIO mode is supported.

The coupler provides an output voltage of 24 VDC, a rated output current of 0.5 A and a maximum output current of 5 A / 0.05 ms. Its PBTP housing measures 40 x 40 x 62 mm. The ambient temperature range is -5...65 °C, and the housing has IP67 protection.
