Photoelectric distance sensors – BOD002L
The BOD 21M-LBI05-S4 photoelectric distance sensor from the 21M series uses the triangulation principle and a red laser light source. Its focused beam characteristic is typical at 400 mm. The adjustable range is 30...200 mm, with an accuracy of ±1 mm max. from 30...170 mm and ±3 mm max. from 170...200 mm. Repeat accuracy is ≤ ±0.25 mm. Resolution is ≤ 10 µm typ. from 30...170 mm and 100 µm typ. from 170...200 mm. The light spot size is 1.5 x 0.5 mm at 200 mm.
The sensor measures 15 x 51 x 42.5 mm and has a connector with M12x1-Male, 4-pin connection. Its interface provides IO-Link 1.1, an analogue current output of 4…20 mA with linear rising/falling characteristic, and 2x PNP/NPN with NO/NC. The housing comprises painted zinc die casting, aluminium, glass and black PMMA. Operating voltage is 15...30 VDC. The sensor has CE, UKCA, cULus, IO-Link and WEEE approval/conformity.
