Through-beam sensors – BOS0258
The BOS 18M-X-RS21-S4 photoelectric sensor, order code BOS0258, belongs to the 18M series and uses the through-beam operating principle as an emitter. It has a divergent beam characteristic and emits red light via an LED. The light spot size is Ø 350 mm at 10 m, while the operating range is 0...20 m. The sensor measures Ø 18 x 75 mm and features a brass, nickel-plated housing with a glass, anti-glare sensing surface.
Electrical connection is provided by an M12x1 male, 4-pin connector. The sensor operates with an operating voltage Ub of 10...30 VDC. Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE. The scope of delivery comprises two M18x1 nuts and a user manual.
