The read times for BIS M-1xx-0x and BIS M-1xx-20 FRAM based RFID tags with 16 byte memory blocks or "pages" are as follows:
- The read time for the first 0 to 15 bytes is 30 msec.
- For each additional started 16 bytes add an additional 15 msec. (Round up to an even 16 bytes to complete a block or "page" of data from the tag.)
Add the initial 16 bytes time with each additional 16 bytes block or page of data to get the complete read time required. To be sure to accommodate for variations in tag offset, mounting conditions and possible tag detection errors, use a safety factor of multiplying by 2 to 3 the calculated time to be sure to allow time for these conditions.
