Change foaming shapes without wear

Due to production requirements, foaming molds in refrigerator and freezer production have to be changed frequently. Mechanical coupling of the power supply and signal transmission usually takes place here – cables are unplugged and plugged in manually, although this is prone to wear. A much more efficient alternative is therefore the use of inductive couplers from Balluff. These transmit signals and energy without contact – and the repeated mechanical connection and disconnection are no longer necessary.
