Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05NP

The BES M18MH2-GNX50B-BT02-EXB inductive sensor, order code BES05NP, has an M18x1 housing for flush mounting and dimensions of Ø 18 x 67 mm. It provides a 5 mm range and uses a NAMUR interface. The housing is made of stainless steel, while the sensing surface consists of PTFE. Connection is provided by an FEP cable.

The operating voltage Ub is 7.7...9 VDC. The ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C, depending on the Ex category. The Ex categories are ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), ATEX: 1G (EPL Ga), ATEX: 2D (EPL Db), ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb), ATEX: 3D (EPL Dc) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). The sensor has IP68 protection. Approval and conformity include CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
