Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BHS004M

The BES 516-300-S321-NEX-S4-D inductive sensor, order code BHS004M, has dimensions of Ø 12 x 78 mm and an M12x1 housing style. It is designed for flush mounting and provides a 1.5 mm range. The switching output is PNP normally open (NO), with a switching frequency of 1000 Hz. The housing is made of stainless steel, while the sensing surface is made of EP. Electrical connection is provided by a 4-pin M12x1-Male connector.

The sensor operates with 10...30 VDC and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -25...80 °C. Its maximum pressure rating is 350 bar. The Ex category is ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). The sensor has IP68 protection and carries CE, ATEX, IECEx and WEEE approval/conformity.
