The BIS VU-320-C0-S4 UHF RFID reader, order code BIS015Z, operates at 865…868 MHz. It has a patch antenna with circular polarization and adjustable output power from 5 dBm…24 dBm (3.2 mW…250 mW). The reader measures 130 x 50.5 x 130 mm and uses an M12x1 male, 4-pin, A-coded connection. Its interface is RS485 (BIS V connection only).

The reader operates with 24 V DC LPS Class 2 and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -20...55 °C. The housing consists of coated PC, ABS, zinc and die casting, with the connector included in the housing material specification. The IP rating is IP54. Radio licensing covers Europe (CE) and the United Kingdom (UKCA). Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE.
