Network modules with multiprotocol – BNI00KJ
The BNI XG5-538-0B5-R067 network module, order code BNI00KJ, supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and Modbus TCP. Its IIoT interfaces are REST API, MQTT parsed and OPC UA. Eight IO-Link auxiliary interfaces are provided through eight M12x1 female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots. The IO-Link ports have Port Class Type A (4x) and Type B (4x), and support IO-Link version 1.1.4. The module has no display and supports Safety Hub.
Operating voltage is 18...30 VDC. COM 1 and COM 2 each use an M12x1 female, 4-pin, D-coded connection. Supply voltage IN uses an M12x1 male, 5-pin, L-coded connection, while supply voltage OUT uses an M12x1 female, 5-pin, L-coded connection. It provides 12 PNP, Type 3 digital inputs and 12 PNP digital outputs; the inputs and outputs are configurable. Maximum output current is 4 A. Sensor and actuator current sums are each 16 A. The plastic housing has stainless-steel inserts, measures 68 x 38.3 x 226.2 mm, and is designed for ambient temperatures of -40...70 °C. The IP rating is IP68 and IP69K. A grounding strap and M4x6 screw are included; label plates and port cover are not included.
