The BOD 6K-RAI03-S75 photoelectric distance sensor, order code BOD002U, belongs to the 6K series and has dimensions of 12 x 34 x 21.6 mm. Its operating principle is photoelectric distance measurement using optical triangulation. The sensor has a divergent beam characteristic and uses a red LED light source. The light spot size is 16 x 16 mm at 200 mm. The sensing range is 30...200 mm, with a repeat accuracy of 1 mm and a resolution of ≤ 0.68 mm.
The sensor provides an IO-Link-Device 1.1.3 interface, an analogue voltage output of 1…10 V/3 mA, and PNP/NPN/Auto-Detect switching with NO/NC. It operates with 13...30 VDC and connects via a 4-pin M8x1 male connector. The housing is made of ABS. Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, cULus and WEEE.
