The BOS 18E-PA-RE30-S4 photoelectric sensor, order code BOS023W, is a receiver for through-beam operation in the 18E series. It has a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 75 mm. The sensor uses red LED light and operates within a range of 0...20 m. Its interface provides PNP switching outputs, configurable as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). The sensor has a connector with an M12x1 male thread and four pins. The housing is made of 1.4404 stainless steel, while the sensing surface is PMMA. Operating voltage is 10...30 VDC. The special characteristic is Washdown. Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, cULus, Ecolab and WEEE.
