Through-beam sensors – BOS02C5
The BOS R254K-UUI-LE10-S4, order code BOS02C5, is a receiver through-beam sensor in the R254K series. It measures 20.4 × 62.7 × 49.5 mm and uses laser red light with a range of 0...70 m. The sensor has a 4-pin M12x1 male connector and operates at 10...30 VDC. Its housing is made of PA 12 and PA PACM 12; the sensing surface is PA PACM 12. Interface functions include IO-Link 1.1, Pin 4 Push-pull NO/NC, and Pin 2 PNP/NPN/Push-pull NO/NC. Special characteristics are Washdown Plus and Washdown.
The sensor provides Automatic Switching Threshold Adaption, an Operating Hours Counter, External Signal Blanking, Device Discovery, Basic Statistics, Identification, Logic Blocks, Switching Profiles, Switching Threshold Presetting, Switching and Boot Cycle Counters, Signal Quality Monitoring, Voltage and Current Monitoring, and Variant Configuration. Condition monitoring includes internal humidity, temperature, inclination, installation aid and vibration monitoring. Approvals and conformity comprise CE, UKCA, cULus, WEEE and Ecolab. The scope of delivery includes a mounting instruction.
