Inductive distance sensors – BAW001U
The BAW M18ME-ICC50B-S04G is an inductive distance sensor with order code BAW001U. It has an M18x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 18 x 44.5 mm and is designed for flush mounting. The measuring range is 1...5 mm. An analog current output provides 4…20 mA, with an output characteristic falling on approach. The limit frequency –3 dB is 500 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±8 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±120 µm.
The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface consists of PBT. Electrical connection is provided by a 3-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage Ub is 10...30 VDC. The ambient temperature range is -10...70 °C, and the IP rating is IP67. The sensor has CE, UKCA and cULus approval/conformity, and WEEE applies.
