Inductive distance sensors – BAW0029
The BAW M18MG-UAC16F-S04G-K, order code BAW0029, is an inductive distance sensor with an M18x1 housing and non-flush installation. It measures within a range of 4...16 mm and has a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 65 mm. The analog output provides voltage 0…10 V and temperature signals, with a falling output characteristic on approach. The limit frequency at –3 dB is 500 Hz. Repeat accuracy per BWN is ±200 µm, and maximum non-linearity is ±360 µm.
The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface uses PBT. Connection is via a 4-pin M12x1-Male connector. The operating voltage is 15...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is 10...60 °C. The sensor has IP67 protection and carries CE, UKCA and cULus approvals; WEEE is also provided.
