The BAW Q80KA-UAC50F-S4-504 inductive distance sensor, order code BAW005J, has a block-style housing measuring 80 x 40 x 80 mm and is designed for non-flush installation. Its sensing range is 0...50 mm. The sensor provides an analog voltage output of 0...10 V with a falling output characteristic on approach. The limit frequency at –3 dB is 15 Hz, and the repeat accuracy per BWN is ±12 µm. Maximum non-linearity is ±750 µm within 15...35 mm, ±1500 µm within 5...15 mm and 35...45 mm, and ±2000 µm within 0...5 mm and 45...50 mm.
The housing and sensing surface are made of PBT. Connection is provided by a 3-pin M12x1 male connector. The operating voltage is 20...30 VDC, the ambient temperature range is -10...70 °C, and the enclosure rating is IP67. The sensor has CE and WEEE approval/conformity.
