Inductive proximity switches and proximity sensors – BES0182
The BES 516-300-S170-02 inductive sensor, order code BES0182, has an 8x8 housing with dimensions of 40 x 8 x 8 mm and is intended for flush mounting. Its sensing range is 1.5 mm. The sensor provides an NPN normally open (NO) switching output and operates at a switching frequency of 5000 Hz. The zinc die-cast housing has a PBT sensing surface.
The connection is provided by a 2.00 m PVC cable. The operating voltage is 10...30 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -25...70 °C. The sensor has an IP67 rating. Its approval and conformity designations are cULus, CE, UKCA and WEEE.
