Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05L2

The BES M18MF2-PSC50B-BV02-EXD inductive sensor, order code BES05L2, has an M18x1 housing with dimensions of Ø 18 x 60 mm and is designed for flush mounting. It provides a 5 mm range and a PNP normally open (NO) switching output with a switching frequency of 300 Hz. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, while the sensing surface consists of PA. Connection is via a 2 m PUR cable. The operating voltage is 18...27 VDC, and the ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C. The sensor has IP67 protection.

The Ex categories are ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), ATEX: 1G (EPL Ga), ATEX: 2D (EPL Db), ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb), ATEX: 3D (EPL Dc) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). Approvals and conformity include CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE.
