Inductive sensors for hazardous areas – BES05N0

The BES M18MH2-GNX80F-S04G-EXC inductive sensor, order code BES05N0, has dimensions of Ø 18 x 75 mm and an M18x1 housing. The brass housing is nickel-plated, and the sensing surface is made of PA. The sensor is designed for non-flush installation and has a range of 8 mm. It uses a NAMUR interface and features an M12x1 male, 4-pin connector. The operating voltage is 7.7...9 VDC.

The ambient temperature range is -20...60 °C, depending on the Ex category. The Ex categories are ATEX: 1D (EPL Da), ATEX: 1G (EPL Ga), ATEX: 2D (EPL Db), ATEX: 2G (EPL Gb), ATEX: 3D (EPL Dc) and ATEX: 3G (EPL Gc). The sensor has IP67 protection and carries CE, UKCA, IECEx, ATEX and WEEE approval or conformity markings.
