IO-Link hubs - flexible and cost-efficient signal bundling – BNI00F7
The BNI IOL-314-S52-P071 hub, order code BNI00F7, uses IO-Link 1.1 with COM3 transfer at 230.4 kBaud. Its operating voltage is 18...30.2 VDC. COM 1 is an M12x1-Male, 4-pin, A-coded connection; the supply voltage IN is connected via an M12x1-Male, 5-pin, L-coded connection. Eight M12x1-Female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots provide 16 digital inputs with PNP/NPN, Type 1 and Type 3, and 16 PNP digital outputs. The inputs and outputs are configurable, an extension port is provided, and single-channel monitoring is available.
The sensor current sum US is 2 A and the actuator current sum UA is 16 A. Switching current comprises 12x 2 A and 4x 4 A. Process data has a minimum cycle of 2 ms, with 12 bytes IN and 2 bytes OUT. Functions include vibration, internal temperature and device discovery. Secondary features comprise identification, signal delay, signal speed monitoring, switching, operating hours and boot cycle counters, voltage and current monitoring, extreme environment status, variant configuration, vibration monitoring and internal temperature monitoring. The hub has a PBT, GF30 housing with 1.4404 stainless-steel inserts, dimensions of 68 x 38.3 x 183.5 mm, an ambient temperature range of -25...70 °C, and IP68/IP69K when threaded in.
