The BNI IOL-728-S51-P012 IO-Link hub, order code BNI00FA, has an IO-Link 1.1 interface with COM3 transfer at 230.4 kBaud. COM 1 uses an M12x1 male, 4-pin, A-coded connector. Eight M12x1 female, 5-pin, A-coded connection slots provide eight analog inputs supporting voltage and current signals: 0…10 V, -10…10 V, 0…5 V, -5…5 V, 5…10 V, 4…20 mA and 0…20 mA. Single-channel monitoring is available. Additional functions are vibration, internal temperature and device discovery.
The operating voltage is 18…30.2 VDC, and the total sensor current is 4 A. The process data cycle is at least 3 ms, with 23 bytes of process data IN. Secondary features include identification, device discovery, an operating hours counter, boot cycle counter, voltage and current monitoring, extreme environment status, storage usage monitoring and variant configuration. Condition monitoring includes vibration monitoring and internal temperature monitoring. The housing consists of PBT, GF30, and 1.4404 stainless steel inserts. Dimensions are 68 x 38.3 x 183.5 mm, the ambient temperature range is -25…70 °C, and the IP rating is IP68 and IP69K when threaded in.
