The BOS R254K-UUI-LE10-S4 through-beam sensor, order code BOS02C5, belongs to the R254K series and operates as a photoelectric sensor receiver with red laser light. It has a range of 0...70 m, dimensions of 20.4 x 62.7 x 49.5 mm and a 4-pin M12x1 male connector. The housing consists of PA 12 and PA PACM 12; the sensing surface is made of PA PACM 12. Operating voltage is 10...30 VDC. The sensor has the special characteristics Washdown Plus and Washdown.
IO-Link 1.1 is provided. Pin 4 supports push-pull, NO/NC; pin 2 supports PNP/NPN/push-pull, NO/NC. Functions include automatic switching threshold adaption, operating hours counter, external signal blanking, device discovery, basic statistics, identification, logic blocks, pin assignment, switching profiles, switching threshold presetting, switching counter, sensor operating mode, signal speed monitor, signal quality monitoring, signal delay, voltage and current monitoring, storage usage monitoring, boot cycle counter, extreme environment status and variant configuration.
