Overwhelming generosity in Brazil
Balluff’s Brazilian subsidiary puts charity first – even to the point of collapsing a table under overwhelming amounts of donations.
Social responsibility is a top priority throughout the Balluff company, including Brazil. Every year, Balluff Controles Elétricos Ltda. is involved with various local civic minded organizations, for example with donations of clothes and toys or bake sales. In addition, there are changing initiatives that are discussed monthly by a committee of eight employees from different departments. During the pandemic, for example, many people lost their jobs in Vinhedo, the Balluff site. That’s why the employees collected food for the Comunidade dos Vicentinos de Louveira facility. The generosity of the team was truly overwhelming. The donation table could not withstand more than 600 kilograms of donated food.
